Ink & Paper

Well, I’m not sure what I can say, other than what the poster already tells you. I can tell you that this is going to be a pretty special event. The folks behind the shadowy organisation, known as The UKPA have pulled out all the stops to get this show up and running, and it promises to be pretty mind blowing.

It doesn’t seem like long ago that the poster ‘scene’ in the UK was almost none existent, but it’s been almost five years since the first Poster Roast event, which was, for a lot of us, the first time we’d really met up with other folks in the UK who were interested in moving the craft forward. It’s incredible to see how much things have progressed in that space of time, and how many of those people from that first event I’m now happy to call good friends.

Before I get all misty eyed about the passing of time, and posters in general, here are some of the people you can expect to see there: Adam Pobiak (UK/US), Brag Collective (UK), Comet Substance (CH), Damien Tran (FR), Dan Stiles (US), Diego Mena (UK/ES), Drew Millward (UK), Fugscreen Design (US), Graham Pilling (UK), Guy Burwell (US), Horse Design (UK), Jacknife (UK), Justin Santora (US), Kate Prior (UK), Lil Tuffy (US), Luke Drozd (UK), Mara Piccione (NL), Petting Zoo (UK), Sean Mort (UK), Switchopen (UK), Telegramme Studio (UK), Tiny Little Horse (IRE), Tom Lacey (UK), Twoducksdisco (UK), Michael Cowell (UK), Monkey Ink/John Howard (US) & WeThreeClub (UK).
