‘Never Forget’

Hello folks!

It seems to be a bit ‘blog heavy’ around these parts at the moment. I suppose I’m just working too damn hard. Yesterday was no exception.

Taking a day away from the desk is always nice, and when it means heading over to Leeds to print, it’s even nicer. I’d been planning a print of this image for some time, and due to scheduling, things were put off, so it was great to get round to finally getting the ink onto paper.  That said, it’s about the most ambitious print I’ve pulled myself, so I was a bit concerned it could all go to shit, at any moment. As it turned out, I’m very happy with the outcome. Though the temperature was a slight issue, the ever talented Tommy Davidson was on hand to assist the whole process.

Hope you like it.

I’ve tried to document the whole thing as best I can, to save me from having to write paragraphs of text, more than anything else. It should hopefully give you a slight insight in to how these things as made, and the work that is involved.

That’s about it. Although It can’t really convey the hours of hard graft that is really involved with these things.

The final print looks like this:

‘Never Forget’

This is a 4 colour, hand pulled screen print. It is in an edition of 25, printed on 300gsm natural white paper and measures 450 x 640 mm.

This very limited run will be on sale from tomorrow 12pm (GMT) and will cost £40. You will be able to buy it HERE.

Thanks for reading.
